PROFILE

My approach is grounded in the belief that each person has inherent worth, wisdom and the capacity to develop in ways that can lead toward wholeness and renewed energy for life. My main job is to accompany this inner journey by co-creating -along with your participation- a strong container where healing takes place. I believe that when we attempt to listen to psychological symptoms, instead of ignoring or resisting them, we are more likely to find out what is out of balance and needs further integration in ourselves. I am here to assist you to attend to your inner life and by doing so having more satisfying relationships, gaining self-confidence and advancing your desired career-work goals.

My practice is client-centered, collaborative and blends different clinical approaches such as mindfulness-based therapy, CBT (Cognitive Behavioral Therapy), EFT (Emotionally Focused Therapy), and Contextual Family therapy. Jungian approach has been a strong and evolving influence in my work as well. I work with adults, youth, families and couples. Addressing relationship distress in partnerships is one of my specialties.

I'm bilingual in Spanish and can provide treatment in this language as well.
I completed my Master in Couples and Family Therapy at the University of Oregon in 2102 and I am licensed to practice in the state of Oregon (Lic. # T114).
I offer a free 15 minutes phone consultation where you will be able to ask questions and determine if my approach is a good fit for you.
